CRYPTEK CONTINUES TO EXPAND TEMPEST OFFERINGS WITH ACQUISITION OF
EMCON EMANATION CONTROL LIMITED

STERLING, VA (March 12, 2007) – CRYPTEK, Inc., a privately held manufacturer and provider of security products and solutions announced today that it has acquired  EMCON Emanation Control Limited,  a Canadian-based company specializing in development, testing, certification, and manufacturing of TEMPEST and Zone data processing equipment.  This acquisition is a strategic milestone for Cryptek to fulfill its 2007 goals and objectives to enhance, expand and diversify corporate capabilities and expand its customer base.

Through this acquisition, EMCON becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Cryptek, Inc and will continue to operate out of Canada led by Peter Doig. Cryptek remains focused on delivering mission critical solutions to its National and International Defense customer base, and will continue to expand into new markets as well as diversify the company’s capabilities.
