CRYPTEK HIRES NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mark Paiewonsky joins Cryptek as Chief Financial Officer

STERLING, VA (June 18, 2007) –CRYPTEK, Inc., a privately held developer and provider of security products and solutions announced today the hiring of Mark Paiewonsky as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Paiewonsky joins Cryptek with over 20 years of experience in financial management, mergers & acquisitions, International business, SEC reporting, and auditing.

Prior to joining Cryptek, Mr. Paiewonsky held multiple management positions at TREEV LLC, Globalink, Inc., Best Software, Inc., and Arthur Andersen LLP. He graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with the Virginia Board of Accountancy.
