The ION™ SA5600 series of secure appliances provides easy, scalable, IP and dial-up remote administrative access, monitoring, and management. Built-in security, audit, and vendor access control features aid in compliance with many enterprise, industry, and government-mandated security requirements.
The ION™ SA5600 appliance keeps a complete record of all activity — down to the keystroke level. This gives the enterprise companies real-time insight into who is accessing the network, where they are going, and what they are doing. This capability provides the foundation for routine operational reviews and forensic analysis, necessary components of many enterprise security policies. Built-in security features, such as AES encryption, two-factor authentication, and individual user profiles/permissions, help meet or exceed compliance requirements with most enterprise security policies. Helps meet compliance requirements including (but not limited to): PCI, HIPAA, SOX and GLBA.
Monitor and manage a variety of voice, VoIP, and IT equipment over any connection — from IP, to ISDN, to dial-up. The ION™ SA5600 provides the conduit for managed services, across thousands of remote locations worldwide. An interoperable platform fits into any customer environment, allowing for easy connectivity, without having to re-configure security protocols.
The ION™ SA5600 Alarm Management Engine™ (AME) feature collects, filters, and analyzes multiple alarm types, including: SNMP, serial data, and environmental condition data. A customization feature lets you create your own action routines. Built-in intelligence filters out unnecessary alarms, saving you time and money. Also, AME is compatible with most network monitoring systems. With the alarm management capabilities of the ION™ SA5600, it is easier than ever to proactively monitor Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) or enterprise voice and information technology systems.
Read more about the Remote Alarm Management Engine. The newest feature, SnapNAT™, dynamically connects remotely managed devices to NOC tools, vastly speeding the deployment and integration process. For service providers in particular, SnapNAT represents a significant improvement in the way remote systems are deployed and managed. Now, customer premise-located equipment seamlessly integrates with NOC tools, allowing service providers to reduce costs through automation, offer next generation managed services, and better deliver on existing SLAs.
When IP access is unavailable or undesirable, broadband access is an ideal solution, as it offers fast, high-bandwidth connectivity to a variety of voice and IT resources. The ION™ SA5600 now has expanded out-of-band options, including EVDO (wireless broadband) and ISDN-BRI (dial up).
