Using Space Communications Protocol Standards-Transport Protocol (SCPS-TP) compliant TCP acceleration technology, Cryptek’s accelerated and secure satellite solution allows you to utilize your investments while enabling secure TCP/IP networking channel. Moreover, IP data compression technology within the Cryptek’s solution can be an effective way for increasing the channel’s effective bandwidth, and our built-in web caching and prefetching further improves performance.
In addition to securing and accelerating your current satellite communications, Cryptek has addressed another major concern in managing satellite communications; network data confidentiality. In traditional satellite configurations, the user’s network traffic passes through a satellite provider’s system, the data can be seen by the provider as well as by a satellite signal interceptor. To provide confidentiality of network data, Cryptek’s secure satellite solution integrates a Common Criteria EAL-4 and FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified VPN with a satellite data accelerator. This fully integrated system is a drop-in solution for satellite communication applications or other distressed communication links.
